There are many ways in which individuals and groups can get involved in the Black River Watershed Project. Please explore the opportunities available to you.
There are two local groups concerned and actively involved with the Black River watershed. West Branch Watershed Committee - usually meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at the Oberlin Depot, 240 S. Main Street, Oberlin.
French Creek Watershed Committee - usually meets the 4th Tuesday of each month at the French Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant in Sheffield Village.
Everyone is most welcome to: * Attend meetings * Provide advice and assistance * Have your qeustions and concerned addressed
BECOME A VOLUNTEER: * Help with water quality sampling collection * Help with the planning and implementation of project components * Help provide ideas and assistance with fundraising opportunities
BECOME A SPONSOR: * Provides: funding, project materials, equipment, use of land for projects, etc. |
